Zika virus infection has been made a notifiable disease in Ireland and will carry the same obligations for reporting as other notifiable infectious diseases.
TheHealth Protection Surveillance Centre wishes to alert the public and clinicians of an increase of pertussis notifications in infants for the first 20 weeks of 2016.
